John was very professional and punctual. He performed my system maintenance and didn't push me on all the different suggestions. I did take advantage of most of them and he performed them in a timely manner.

Homeowner stated furnace would kick flame on but cut out two seconds later. Homeowner stated he pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Also stated furnace kicked a fault code of 45. Looked up code and it states circuitry lockout. It said to check gas valve to make sure the relay wasn’t stuck open, also check flame sense. Checked both and had no issues. The code also states if code persists after multiple restarts to replace control board. Talked with Jake with gluon tech support and he also deemed it a faulty control board. All recommendations declined at this time. Homeowner will follow up tomorrow if he wants to move forward with repair.

Arrived and customer explained furnace would trip o he rollout safety. After running tests initially diagnosed failed rollout. When I repaired, furnace still had same issues. Dug further into furnace and all checked out ok. Narrowed issues down to either inducer motor or a heat exchanger issue. This cost of these repairs are a large investment for a furnace of this age. Spoke with customer looking at replacement furnace to avoid any further issues. Chris will be meeting with you Monday at 10 AM to go through replacement options.

Upon arrival the unit was cycling through operations correctly but gas would not exit the gas valve when the igniter would spark. Gas was checked for at the gas valve and gas union, there was not any gas. Upon searching the building, it was discovered that there was a gas shutoff valve near the roof access room that had been turned off not allowing gas to enter the unit. The valve was opened and the unit was tested. The unit is operating correctly at this time. Payment still needs to be collected.

Returned to replace failed exhaust motor previous tech had diagnosed. Tested operation of new motor. Power draws were normal, and had no issues with furnace combustion. Furnace is now operating normal at this time.

Upon arrival the furnace would ignite the flame but the last burner would not ignite, causing the flame sensor to not register a flame. The burner assembly was removed and there was a blockage in one orifice causing the gas to not pass through. The blockage was created by a build up of lubrication used by the manufacturer. The blockage was cleared and the operation of the furnace was tested. The furnace is working properly at this time.

Customer explained how system has a gas leak. I performed a leak search on all gas fittings. Everything is secure and not leaking before the valve inside furnace. The only other thing it can be is the gas valve on the furnace because they have had issues in the past where the solenoid would slowly close causing a gas smell. Swapped the gas valve with new. It worked for a minute than quit. Than is would not want to reopen. There is proper incoming gas and voltage. Spoke to manufacture, we will have to replace the gas valve again. Will order parts in morning. Then return to perform the repair.

Customer explained how furnace was not working. Combustion blower was making buzzing noises and would not ramp up. It was getting voltage but would not spin. Removed motor to confirm it was not blocked. Motor is failed. Collected $155 as half down for repair, remainder will be collected when work is completed. Parts will be ordered tomorrow morning. Job will be done in the afternoon. If the furnace has any additional issues after failed motor is replaced, the technician will let you know.
